Grass Raised & Finished
We are a small family-run ranch located at 9400 ft. in the
Wet Mountains of Colorado (west of Pueblo) and have loved raising the Galloway breed since 2013.
We believe the best beef comes from caring for the animals from birth, utilizing a low-stress environment, lush mountain grass forages, and clean living!
Respecting an animal in its life and treating it the same in death is important to us. We use a humane handling facility which is USDA inspected to ensure our beef is healthy for consumption. The beef is aged to ensure excellent taste; cut, packaged, and quickly frozen to ensure superb quality.
The taste, flavor and benefits of our natural, grass-raised and finished beef will win you over forever!

When choosing the type of beef to raise, we found that Galloways would be best. They are:
We've been fortunate to have a happy and healthy solid black Galloway herd with a variety of bred cows, heifers, and bulls.
Are you looking to start your own herd, enhance what you have, or get replacement heifers?

Yes, we do! Give us a call as we have a small amount of 2023 butchered beef for use in specially priced packages. Great idea if you are semi local and want to try our beef.
Our next butchering will be in October and ready at the end of October.
Please see the tab "Edible Offerings" for more information and if you are interested in a whole, half, quarter or eighth.
Yes! We will sell them on the hoof and you can finish and butcher them however you like.
Every year we follow our vet suggested vaccines. Calves receive two doses within the first couple of months, mommas prebreeding and everyone else (bull/steer) on a yearly basis.
If an animal exhibits signs of stress due to a virus or bacteria, we talk with our vet and figure out the best course of action. If antibiotics are needed to save an animal's life, we ensure that buyers of the animals or meat are informed of their treatment.
We also offer the animals protection and a dry place to feed and hang out in the winter; however, they usually find their own comfort under and amongst the trees!
